What is happening,

To the country we live in?

It is changing overnight,

Much to our chagrin…

The politicians are hiding,

They are dealing behind closed doors,

There is no transparency,

And we are still fighting two wars…

The economy is in a tailspin,

With no relief in sight,

And they keep spending,

And they say everything will be all right…

All politicians have betrayed US,

I don’t think any of their words are true,

The corruption is so rampant,

And they’ve taken God out of our schools…

Civil union is acceptable,

And not only between a woman and man,

They have even changed that tradition,

The way it was since time began…

We have to bring back our country,

The way our forefathers brought it together,

And abandon the way it has changed,

It must be brought back forever….
