To Mom

I remember the tears you held back,

On my first day of school,

How you knew it had to be,

And I must learn the golden rule…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The day of my first communion,
When you stood with Dad so proud,
Your smile and your happiness,
Shining through the crowd…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I remember on Confirmation day,

You were smiling ‘cause I had grown,

As I walked up the aisle of the church,

A day you would never bemoan…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then on graduation day,
You held back the tears in your eyes,
As I graduated from grammar and high school,
Your heart was high in the sky…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Then on my wedding day,

When I marched down the aisle,

The tears flowed once again,

And you wiped them from your eyes…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then as my children were born,
You couldn’t hold back your pride,
That is why I love you Mom,
My feelings for you will never subside…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

To my mother on Mother’s Day 5/10/09….

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Believe in Love
Do You Still Know Me?
Hello
I Weep
If I Didn't Love You
I'm Coming Home
In Times of Despair
Inside Your Heaven
Little Snowflake
Looking Back
My Caretaker
No One Else But You
Onward We Fight
Rekindled
Remembering Dad
Shine Some Light on Me
You Lift Me Up
What's Inside
What Will I Do?
Where is God?
You Are So Beautiful
