Shine Some Light on Me

Dear God as I sit here all alone,

I would appreciate shining some light this way,

I am sometimes a lonely man,

Much to my dismay….

I have such a wonderful family,

But I get depressed when I am alone,

And become melancholy and sad,

Something I must bemoan…

My material things are abundant,

But they don’t matter to me that much,

When I am sad, feeling poorly and depressed,

What I need is some light and Your tender touch…

I need some light shining upon me,

Can You accommodate me and send some my way,

So I can eliminate these awkward feelings,

And make this a much better day…

When you are down, ask for Gods help, his prayers are always answered.
