Through These Eyes

Through these eyes,

I could always see,

Joy and happiness,

For both you and me…

Through these eyes,

I’ve seen my children fall,

Only to get up again,

Before they walked they would crawl…

Through these eyes,

I’ve seen them go to school,

Learning their ABC’s,

And the golden rule…

Through these eyes,

I’ve seen them at graduation,

Taking a big step forward,

From their dedication…

Through these eyes,

I’ve walked two down the aisle,

Hiding all my joyous tears,

And trying so hard to smile…

Through these eyes I’ve witnessed,

Grandchildren 1, 2, 3, and 4,

Not realizing without them,

How empty my life was before…

Through these eyes I’ve witnessed,

Sickness, health and death,

Of loved ones and friends,

As they took their last breath…

Through these eyes I’ve prayed,

For solemnity and peace of mind,

For others I care for besides myself,

Towards some of these things we are blind…

Through these eyes I have cried,

Tears of sadness and tears of joy,

For all the things I’ve seen through my eyes,

We cannot always enjoy…

All I Want For Christmas is Your Love

An American Soldier

An Open Letter

As Time Goes By

Believe in Love

Do You Still Know Me?

Hello

I Weep

If I Didn't Love You

I'm Coming Home

In Times of Despair

Inside Your Heaven

Little Snowflake

Looking Back

My Caretaker

No One Else But You

Onward We Fight

Rekindled

Remembering Dad

Shine Some Light on Me

Staying Focused

The Bridge

The “…ologist” Years

The Lonely Boy

The Rhytym of My Heart

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

These Hands

This House is Not For Sale

Through These Eyes

Time

To Mom

You Lift Me Up

What's Inside

What Will I Do?

Where is God?

You Are So Beautiful
