A poem for all seasons Since the cold air is not really here, As the winter stays warm, I wonder if it will stay this way, And we can avoid any winter storms… Is this a very early spring, Or just an unusual season, That the warm air is sticking around, There’s just no rhyme or reason… Then once spring does arrive, I recall snow on Easter years ago, Will we see snow in April, Or will we feel the warmth and Easter glow… Cutting the grass, And the gardening will resume, And removing the weeds, While the colorful flowers are in bloom… Then summer arrives, And the heat can be intense, We walk outdoors and have barbeques, And the summer holidays commence… Then the cycle starts all over again, Autumn turning bright and colorful trees, But the weather turns cold, No more warm summer breeze… Bobemakk@optonline.net ©2012 |
