You Are So Beautiful

I always captured you in my eyes,

As you walked down the street,

You were beautiful in my eyes,

Without you I felt incomplete…

I asked you out many times,

And I was turned down,

But was always hoping,

That I could turn this around…

I found another,

And so did you,

I guess at the time,

We had to start anew…

As time passed by,

We forgot about each other,

You had found your love and lost,

And I was with another…

Then one day in church,

I heard you call my name,

Little did I know that,

It was an old flame…

You were a woman now,

And I was not a boy,

When I first saw you,

It brought back moments of joy…

Then we lost touch again,

When I moved away,

From that snobby upper crust town,

Although I really wanted to stay…

Then you found me,

On the Internet once again,

We touched base and went out,

And there went my pain…

You got so much better with age,

And not that we are old,

We are at the prime of our lives,

And that’s how the story goes…

You know who you are….
